大家好！ Our new 2 week villagers arrived yesterday. After a round of stations from the nurse to making name tags (名牌）the kids took some time to get to know the other villagers and play a few days. We ended the day (of course) with a campfire and with many hopes that this session will be full of making great friends & studying Chinese! The next day we began our first full day here at 森林湖。中国通（our daily challenge of speaking Chinese from breakfast to dinner) was introduced and the optional camping trip taking place was introduce via a theatrical performance by our counselors Da Wei & Shan Ming. The kids spent the day getting to know all of the places around 森林湖 (i.e. the nurse, bank, candy store etc). The two week villagers were put into their language learning groups and had their first class! Below are some pictures of opening day & today. Enjoy!
