These past few days at 森林湖 have been jam packed! This weekend the villagers took part in our own dragon boat races here on site. Beforehand they presented family cheers to kickoff the day celebration. The rest of the day was spent resting up for the busy week to follow. Last night our evening activity was a Chinese wedding! Potential brides and grooms were setup with their “parents” by their sides and the villagers participated in the customs traditional of Chinese weddings. Afterward (of course) we all enjoyed a campfire and announcements about the last week at 森林湖。The session has gone by in the blink of an eye and we’ll all be sad to leave our friends here at camp on Saturday. International Day is Friday! And we’ll be preparing for our presentation (it is 森林湖’s 25th anniversary this year!) at I-day as well as practicing cheers and the different I-day dances. Until next time!
PS, the pictures below include this past weekend’s activities as well as our creditors trip to Bemidji for the local dragon boat races (different from the ones we had this weekend at site).

再见!
爱,
